Hello people Thursday night maintenance, this is every week! Have a beer and shoot some pool I just got back from that with my GF. She loves Thursday maintenance, the one night out of the week she knows 100% I will not say " give me a minute dear I am posting/ composing an auction!

If you are within the United Kingdom then Auctiva is usually back on to start listing etc from mid day on fridays..

Many a time i have sat here waiting...

I usually spend the morning getting all my pics taken ready for the listings and as soon as its back on then all systems go!

You would think that seeing as is UK they would alter the message so we know not to sit for half an hour or so trying to get on.
I have just been getting very cross and then seen your thread and yeah I know now that is not Thursday night and is acually Friday morning. Cheers folks.

Yes, I'm a newbie
I know about Thurs night maintenace & I'm happy to work around it but I give up trying to work out the time differences. I know the maintenance happens 10.30pm every Thurs night GMT for approx 4 hours, but it's 10.30 pm Friday here & I still can't get on - I keep getting an error message. I think I need to allow an 11 hour difference (?) but it doesn't work out. ... or am I working too many late nights?

Elena, I don't think it's your time difference calculations, it appears the maintenance window has stretched somewhat, it's lasted a lot more than 4 hours so far. By the way, it doesn't start at 10:30 GMT, it's 10:30 PST (is that Pacific Standard Time please someone?) - which I believe is 8 hours behind GMT - so I make that 06:30 GMT that the maintenance starts, and 10:30 it 'should' end, but it's almost 90 minutes over at the moment. I make Australia 10 hours ahead of GMT, so I think the window should start at 16:30 for you.

All this PST GMT etc etc is too much for me but I think I've got it now. Also, we're on EDST now (I hope I got the letters right)
After I posted here I tried again to log into my account & it worked.
Anyhow, I'll get used to it.

Hi Pete you are right on PST being Pacific Standard Time so 10:30 PM PST is 1:30 my time EST eastern Standard Time

I am in Israel and I don't care what the time difference is, the auctiva.com website won't come up. The classic.auctiva.com won't let me log in. I am boxed out and it is way past any maintenance window. I'll be patient, but I guess I chose the wrong time of the week to try and start this!
