Reply to "Help! Item Details! Error Message. No Details"

I've never gotten an error message, but several items I got ready today had no way to put "Item Details" in. Are they really important? It's kind of a PITA when doing a bunch of similar items and have to go in and check which ones are applicable and which need to be changed or deleted.
