Before my question, let me just say that I have not created any new listings since Auctiva became a pay service, so I'm trying to figure out if things have changed or if I just can't remember how to do things.

What I'm trying to do: Insert Auctiva-hosted images directly into my listing and then adjust some of their properties.

In the old days, I would insert an image into the listing using the Insert Image button on the listing editor. Once the image was inserted, I would right-click on the image to adjust properties. It allowed me to determine how the picture appeared in the listing, by selecting things like: 1)image outline, 2)image resize, 3)text left/right or text wrap-around.

Now I've successfully inserted an image into my first new listing in years, but right-clicking and choosing image properties does not seem to work any more. When I do, a box pops up telling me the date the image was created, but I cannot make any adjustments to the way the picture appears.

Although it would be a real pain, I suppose I could edit certain aspects of the images before uploading (dimensions, outline, etc), but I really really REALLY need to figure out how to make all the text appear to one side of the image, or make the text wrap around the image, or something like that.

I have a degree in Advertising, and I've been known to be very particular about how my listings appear. Without the ability to determine the orientation of images in a listing, Auctiva is useless to me.

Someone please let me know if the procedure changed, or if it can no longer be done, or if the servers are having issues, or if my memory is having issues.

By the way, I have the unlimited plan and I'm using Firefox.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jorbeez,

Thanks for posting your question here. Both description editors we have available on our site still offer the image adjustment options you describe when you right click an image that has been placed within the editor and choose "Image Properties", so I'm not quite sure why you may be running into trouble when attempting to do this now.

I just tested out this functionality on my end and did not encounter any problems adjusting the dimensions (for example), but there could be something specific to the image you are editing or the values you are entering that is causing your experience to differ.

If you are still experiencing this problem, please contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option and we will do our best to help you out.
