I had to file a claim with shipsurance, jumped through all their hoops and provided them all the papers they requested. Now I'm wondering how long it takes them to reimburse? When I used eBay's insurance, it never took more than 2 days, which was great when you have to refund your buyer. I can't get an answer from shipsurance, I've emailed them 3 times asking for status update, but all requests have been ignored. Online status just says "processing". Stinks because I had to send the refund to the buyer already, so now I'm left holding the bag waiting for reimbursement that seems to be taking way to long. We aren't talking some ridiculous amount, it's only $175., but the way things have been selling lately $175 is a big amount for me to be waiting for. Just curious if anyone has any ideas on how long it takes them? Thanks

Can't help you there...BUT glad to know ebay insurance is so fast. Sounds like I am on right page using ebay insurance for items except international lst class. (i know..costs little more...but time is money and if you get ignored that is money spend following up)
I ABSOLUTELY HATE WHEN I AM IGNORED!!!! (PET PEEVE OF MINE,JUST RESPOND!) None of us would be selling long if we ignored our customers.

In US I am moving more and more toward Fed Ex thanks to a friend who recommended them....they are very fast, and easy to deal with. I will sure use fed ex more when postal service ups their rates.

$175.00 is big amount to me!!
