I tried to post two listings to ebay. They won't post and Auctiva says "API error". It seems to be insisting that I accept PayPal, which I don't. I selected cashiers check or money order, as I have in previous instances without this problem. Anyone know what gives here? Yes, my postings cleared the ebay error check. Thanks!

I did see a recent post by another member with API error about policy change requiring ebay and PayPal account linkage for international shipping. Are you shipping international? I addded the text of the message they got from a test by direct submit to ebay to bottom of the post.

I know the Aussies are being forced to PayPal only for payment soon.

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems

Hi TomB,

If you have received an API error that contains the text "Please contact Auctiva support for further information on why your listings failed to post", it is indicative that eBay returned an error message that is not stored in our system. The actual error that eBay returned could be the one Danno mentioned above, or it could be something entirely different.

If you are still having trouble posting these listings and would like us to retrieve the exact error that was returned by eBay with respect to them, please contact our customer support team using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx
