I didn't pay anything for turbo lister, and it doesn't cost me extra...I love Auctiva, it's great, especially because it's free, however it can be slow at times because it's web based (I'm assuming)...with Turbo Lister you create and edit listings offline and editing is VERY easy. What it doesn't have is free templates, you have to pay for listing designer, and you have to pay for extra pictures, just like on ebay. It does have a custom field for inventory item number which I like...I can't wait for Auctiva to have an Inventory section. Anyway, I guess I was hoping someone out there was using both Turbo Lister and Auctiva, or if you or anybody thinks that doesn't make sense to do at all. I finally found a template in Auctiva that I like so I was hoping to use that along with the Auctiva Insurance, but bulk list and edit using Turbo Lister.
Thanks.
HI Melanie,

I can understand your thought. I used turbo in other ID's and it was good for alot of things, unitl I fould Auctiva. Your right, Auctiva is Web based, so it has its slow times, but I list at odd hours, late late night or eary am. Then I save my listing for a scheduling when its busy on Auctiva. I think lots of people list and post at the same time, so the bandwidth is narrower.

I think If you had to, you could try and design an Auctiva ad, then save the Html code and paste it to Turbo and see it it works. Let me know.

Personally, I'm personally vevy happy with Auctiva and their customer service and really like the community here. I too look forward to the new version coming in July.
Thanks to both of you for your help. I did a search on turbolister and did find similar info. I may try the "get html" on a new listing, but what I have already done is import active listings into turbolister, then edited the listing right in TL, the auctiva template was already there. Seems that the pictures I inserted from auctiva's image hosting cannot be supersized, guess that's only if you create listing through Auctiva...or maybe I haven't figured it out yet.
Anyway, thanks again!
Melanie

Huh. Seems like it would still work if the pictures are hosted at Auctiva and the links point to the pictures at Auctiva... I don't know, maybe I'm missing something..
