Hi Community,

As many of you may have noticed from the alert message posted on the home page, we are currently conducting a site update that involves some brief site down time. Due to this site update, the Auctiva website is expected to be uinavailable until about 9 AM PDT. I will update this thread if there are any changes to this schedule or if any technical issues arise as a result of the update.

If you have any questions regarding your Auctiva account, please feel free to contact our customer support team using the form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx

Hi Community,

Hello again. We have received reports from a handful of users indicating that, after clicking one of the "Select an Image" boxes on the listing creation page, they are unable to navigate past the first page of previously uploaded images. Selecting one of the subsequent pages just causes the images from the first page to be displayed again.

Our engineering team is currently working on a solution for this problem and will have it resolved as soon as possible. I'll post further updates on this issue to this thread as additional information becomes available.

Hi Community,

We have also become aware of a technical problem that is causing the descriptions some users have entered not to show up within the description editor in saved listings, even though the descriptions do show up when those saved listings are previewed from the Saved Listings page.

Our engineering team is looking into getting this issue resolved as soon as possible too and I'll keep you all posted on the progress of this issue through this thread. Hopefully we'll have fixes out for both of these issues soon.

If you are being impacted by this specific issue, I would NOT recommend saving over any of the saved listings for which you do not see text in the description editor as that may prevent the description text from being restored when we get this issue resolved.

Hi Community,

While we are still looking into what will be required to fix the issues mentioned above, we did become aware of a workaround for the issue of the descriptions not showing up in the description editor for some users.

The problem appears to be occurring when a description is typed up in the new description editor and the saved listing is then opened up with the existing version of the editor with a default of "Text Mode" as specified in one's account preferences.

If you are experiencing this problem, you should be able to work around the issue by setting your default editor to "Design Mode". This can be done by mousing over the "My Account" tab within Auctiva, selecting the "Acct Preferences" option under "Settings", selecting "Design Editor" from the "Default Editor on One-page Lister" drop down menu and then saving your changes.

I'll continue to keep everyone posted through this thread as we become aware of additional information pertaining to these issues.

Hi Community,

Update - We have just released some changes to correct the issue with being unable to go past page 1 of archived images on the image selector so that issue should no longer be present now.

We are still looking into what will need to be done to correct the issue causing the description text not to show up within the description editor. For the time being, if you are being impacted by that problem, I recommend using the workaround mentioned in my previous post.

If you notice any remaining problems with respect to your ability to select images from you archive while creating listings, please let us know by contacting our customer support team.

Hi Community,

Update - The issue mentioned above should now be resolved. We made some changes yesterday evening to address the problem and are no longer seeing the behavior in the account for which it was reported. If you encounter any further difficulties with Auctiva, please let us know by contacting our customer support team from the "Help" page on our site.
