Hello! I'm new to Auctiva and I'm sure that my problem is user error, but I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction to correct it.

I created several auctions yesterday using different templates. On two of them I used the Pirate template from the Fantasy section. This morning I needed to do a small revision to each auction. Every auction revised well except the two using the Pirate template. The template just disappeared. My pictures and description, terms, etc are all layed out as if the template were there, but the design elements of the template are gone. Here's the item # for one of the auctions where I am having the problem:
190259549604

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Kim C

Does a Preview of the problem Saved Listings from the Saved Listings page show the template included? If not, that at least explains why it's not on the active listings.

Danno, thank you for your response. Yes, the Preview of the saved listing does show the Pirate Template. I'm not sure what to do at this point, or if there is anything that can be done.

Hi,

I would file a Support Case (HELP link at top of Forum page), so Auctiva can investigate. I took a long look at the code, and it seems like none of the template found its way into the listing. They need to look for the cause on this one.

To fix the active listing would require replacement of the code. You could use the HTML selection on the Saved Listings page to copy and past new code using eBay's Revise Listing editor. That may be more hassle than you want to attempt. The listings don't look bad, just missing that nice template. Frown

Hi Kim,

Glad that worked. I was concerned that might produce the same result, i.e. make the same code-build mistake.

What's odd about the code I did see, was unmistakable signs of Auctiva build-ons, including the Seller Details.

If it happens again, I would let Auctiva immediately know, so they can look at the code.

You're welcome.

Danno
