I am trying to create an item description profile. I've created the source in an HTML editor. I have a background image which is located in the Auctiva Image library which I refer to in the background image tag.

Next I create a table with a white background. So I end up with a white table with my text and a border around the table with my background image.

It looks fine in my editor so I paste it into the item description editor. It looks fine. Then I save the profile. However the next time I open it the background image statement has been deleted. I had this same problem with Turbo Lister in that the background image statement is ignored.

This all seems to be ridiculous to me. I've read a number of posts about background images but can't find a definitive answer here.

Is there a way to do this or I am SOL?

Thanks!

Is it possible you have an html statement that calls for a path to your background that is absent?

I know nothing about html, but I do know that when I look at the text editor after typing in my info in the design editor it is full of html statements.

Probably you can save time by sending a support ticket through Help and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link. Wink
