I'm new to selling so I've been looking at ways to showcase my items and keep costs down. To that end I've checked out both eCrater and Bluejay stores since both are free. I found the discussions in the forums on Auctiva very helpful for both sites, so I checked them out. One thing that I thought was cool on Bluejay was a forum for reporting problem buyers and sellers. For instance, buyers who consistently leave feedback that is unwarranted or sellers that don't follow through with a sale. I think this would be a helpful tool on Auctiva. Any comments? For? Against? Indifferent? Ridiculous?

IMHO, a bad selling experience can bias a seller against a particular buyer, many times unfairly. In those cases, their opinion is tainted by emotion. I don't think it's ridiculous, but I always take an upset seller's opinion on a problem buyer with a grain of salt.

I'll give questionable buyer's the benefit of the doubt, albeit cautiously.
Point taken. Specifically, I was impressed by a case in which a seller had repeated not followed through and had been reported by several people. I think they were eventually 'banned'. Look at my feedback for my own experience with a buyer to see why I think this could be beneficial in some instances. Buyer 'ninikasia' is a nightmare.
Toolhaus makes a great tool for reviewing negative and neutral feedback left by an ebay user or left for that ebay user. It's saved my behind may times.

You cannot create a list, blog or other board about bad buyers and sellers. Ebay will shut your ebay account down if they catch you doing that. It's been tried many times.
