I am relatively new to ebay, very new to Auctiva and have do not understand HTML. When responding, please assume that I know nothing!! Smile I would like to be able to put captions underneath my photos. Can this be done within an existing template. For example, if all of my pictures are listed vertically, and I want to write underneat each photo, what is shown, can this be done? Thanks so much for any and all help!!

Hi mpos -

Without knowing any HTML, you have a couple of options with captions:

1. Do what SandysBTQ suggested adn add your captions prior to uploading your pictures to Auctiva.

2. Add your pictures to the Description section of your listing in a table format. This will hopefully save you from having to learn HTML in order to do this.

Here's how this option works:

1. While on the Design Editor of the Item Description section of the one page lister, you will see a button that looks like a grid (if you hover over it, it will say Insert/Edit Table.) Once you click that, enter your table properties - how many rows, columns, etc... .
2. The table will pop up and each empty box is called a cell. Click inside the first cell and you will see your cursor flashing there.
3. Next take your mouse over to the small yellow button next to UserLinks (it will say FreetivaImage.) Click on that and you will see your uploaded images.
4. Pick one and it will appear in the cell your cursor was in. You can then pick the cell below the picture to add your caption to. Do this a few times and you have your pictures with captions.

It looks like a lot of work when you write how to do it, but once you do it one time you will be able to play around with it and get the results you want.

Happy Listing
Cara!
