In order to edit the captions for individual images, go to the Manage Images page from the Images tab. There will be a box under each image labeled "Caption."

After you fill in those, you can then select the "Display Image Captions" on the listing page to get those captions to appear in your listing.

Hi,

That click-off box is to active the feature for the listing, but the Captions are added to pictures in another location - your Manage Images page at Auctiva.

If you go to Images tab - Manage Images, you'll see your stored images with a blank text line and label "Caption:" for each image. Enter your text for a specific image, check the box to the left of the image, and select the Update Captions button at top or bottom of page.

Go back and PREVIEW your listing and you should see the caption(s) added.

Note, I believe the caption is embedded in the submission text of the listing, so it must be done prior to submission to ebay.

Oh....and I love that feature. It even works on the Tumbnails too. See example:

Thanks I think I had just discovered the answer after I posted the question. It would be useful if something was inserted on the listing page to tell you what to do though1
