Cut and Paste is Cutting UP! HELP!

Hi there. Old to ebay, newbie at Auctiva...though I love it. PROBLEM: I write my 'ads' in Word, and have a section for Payment, Shipping, Customer Service, etc. I paste the description first, then go back and copy and paste the other elements into my Auctiva ad. Then I Preview or go to Full Size Editor, and the ad is jumbled up everytime!!! The Description is correct, but after that the formating is wrong (everything bold or underlined or...) and the sentences are (seemingly) randomly placed all over. I've tried everything I can think of and it's beat me. HELP?!? THANKS in advance: Vince

Hi Vince,

This is happening because MS Word notoriously adds additional HTML tags that aren't compatible with basi text editors. In order to avoid this problem, when pasting from MS Word, please use the "Paste from Word" button on the Auctiva descripiton editor. This button has an icon reflecting a clipboard with an "M" on it. Then, paste your text in the text box of the ensuing pop up window, and click "OK" to transfer the text to the Auctiva description editor.
