Daylight savings time and Auctiva time?

Thank you cabbage rose, I did manually change the post times between server errors. I did file a support request, 2 hours later they told me it should be automatic if I had my auctiva time set? I have it set for my time. I have no idea what they meant.

I just noticed the same thing - starting times changing. And it WON'T LET ME IN TO EDIT THE TIMES!! grrrrr server errors.

dmh. do not edit times, I did and now they are starting early. i give up

I'm gettin' pretty pixxed off now. I've tried to keep my cool for the last week, which has been a complete joke. This is just about the last straw for me.

Auctiva, can you atleast get your clocks right? What a joke! All of mt auctions that I had to post tonight showed up with a 1 hour post time difference than what I scheduled them for this morning. I corrected the time and they posted 1 hour early.

10:41 PM EST, and Auctiva clocks are still off.

For cryin' out loud, even WinXP is smart enough to change the time automatically...

Did you schedule these listings today or yesterday biscuit?

If you schedule a new listing now does it show the correct time in the scheduled listings page?

I can't imagine why the servers wouldnt have the time change automatically. We normally have them set up to update automatically by Microsoft.

Well, for example, when I create/edit a listing, the "Creat/Edit Date" shows as 1 hour ahead of the actual time.

Same for when I check my scheduled listings...

Same on mine even the ones I posted directly instead of scheduling. They show the time as an hour later than what it was when I posted. I've got one that has been trying to post since 7:20 and it shows a time of 8:20

I think that's enough info for the programmers to check.

Things were fine last year so it must have something to do with our new feature that lets you set your local time zone.

I'm fairly sure all our servers are set to the correct time. It looks like when the program puts them into the database that is when the time is getting off.

What you can probably do for now is change your time zone in your settings on the my account page back 1 hour. Then just keep watching each time you schedule because once we fix the bug you'll need to change it back.

I am so TOTALLY frustratd at this point. I am on the west coast...I scheduled all of my listing to post at 9 PM Pacific time. Tonight...all of my ads posted at 8 PM, even though it states that post time is 9. It is only 8:21 PM right now, and my 9 PM listings are already posted to Ebay!!!!!!!!!

different details here (I'm on eastern time) but same result - everything went off an hour earlier than scheduled. 10:00 pm is 10m, NOT 9:00 pm. Fat lotta good scheduling is.

Hello,

If you have your Time Zone set and the feature to allow 60 minutes for Daylight Savings time enabled, now that we are back to Standard Time, you must disable the allow 60 minutes for DST.

After logging into Auctiva, click on My Account -> Settings -> Under the Time Zone selection is the check box for DST. Remove the check or put 0 minutes for Daylight Savings Time.

Eric, are we going to have to do this every 6 months, or is this something that you plan to make automatic sometime in the future (hopefully)?

Ok, I'm really confused now. The listings I created MONDAY (after dst), posted at the correct time. The ones I created today, all started an hour early. How is it, they worked fine yesterday, and now today are messed up?

Guys, what's the big deal? It effects 2 days out of the year. Listings starting or finising one hour either way on 2 days a year is not going to make or break anyone! Or does everyone just need to have another thing to gripe and moan about?
