Do the store and scrolling gallery still work with external image hosting?

I still quite like the Auctiva gallery and the store could prove useful in the future. But there is no chance in hell I am going to pay to host images

So do these features still work when hosting images elsewhere? If it does, does the store/scrolling gallery collect it's images from ebay or from the hosting site?

And would I need to change any settings?

It is my understanding that as long as you keep your Auctiva account and your Auctiva Token is not disabled..the scrolling gallery will still appear in your listings as long as you do not change it in your Auctiva Preferences/Settings.
(Remember, if you do not chose one of the paid Auctiva Plans, it will automatically default to the Free Plan which includes the scrolling gallery).

The only problem I had was I hosted some photo's with another service and chose their scrolling gallery also... I ended up with their scrolling gallery AND Auctiva's scrolling gallery.

Thanks LiL, that's what I hoped.

You should be able to remove one or other of the scrolling gallery from your listing quite easily by editing the listing? I'm not sure you can do it in the GUI editor, but you could definitely switch to HTML mode and (if you were removing the Auctiva one) remove everything between the  tags.
