I signed up for Auctiva last week and have been fiddling around with it for over a week now, trying to get some listings ready to post.
I am finding it very cumbersome and frankly a "pain in the butt".
The fonts and templates seem to have a mind of their own. I have tried using profiles, but it turns out a mess in the template.
So now, I am just using 1 seller detail in all of my listings and still the fonts come out crazy in the preview, and now what information I placed at the top of the listing, ends up at the very bottom!
Also, I customized a template, basically took everything out except description and image, and the payment info tags is still appearing in the preview.
I have a few saved listings, but I am scared to list them, because I am afraid it will be a train wreck!
If I can't get this figured out this week, I will give up on Auctiva - wasted WAY TOO MUCH time already!
Thanks in advance!

If you know a bit of HTML, it's best to switch to "TEXT MODE" in the design editor, then copy all of your HTML, and paste it into a proper HTML editor, or use something like www.practiceboard.com. Then get the HTML just the way you like it, copy it to the clipboard, go back to Auctiva's design editor, switch to "TEXT MODE", and copy your known good HTML back in. Here's the important part: DON'T SWITCH BACK TO "DESIGN VIEW"!! It'll screw everything up. Immediately "Save" your listing, then do a preview - everything should be good to go. You can go back in to your listing to edit, just be careful when using the design editor, and in particular, switching from "TEXT" to "DESIGN" mode and vice versa.

Bleh... sounds like a lot, I know, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad.
