I've noticed that here in Auctiva when I look at a listing of all my current auctions, the information is not even close to being correct. Many items that have had bids on them for days show as having no bids; other items with bids are WAY off in the current bid amount - in the order of a couple days' worth of bids. Also, when I look at my closed auctions in Auctiva, it indicates that I have not left feedback for any of my sales, which is totally incorrect.

What is going on? Is there something on my settings that needs to be "refreshed", or is Auctiva that far behind in gathering eBay data? This is NOT a good situation...

Hi Community,

Our listing maintenance, which updates title, current price, high bidder, high bidder feedback, bid count, currency, and end time on your active listings page is done about every 6 hours.

Once your updated prices are reflected on your active listings page, they should be displayed in your store window the next time it refreshes, which it does about every 2 hours.

Hi Mike - I filed a support request this afternoon and got the following email back from them:

"I am very sorry for all of the problems this has caused. I have gone ahead and forwarded this issue over to our engineering department. They are currently working to resolve this issue as soon as possible."

Based on the reply I got in this forum from JOHNINOR, I guess I'm not the only one with this issue.

Also, the six hour update isn't too bad, and I could live with that (hopefully it'll improve), but what we are seeing now is really bad. I hope those software engineers come up with something soon, as the system is unusable for any sort of reporting tool. Posting auctions works pretty well, with the occasional browser freeze that a lot of us have - I've learned to save my listing BEFORE adding any images to it. Frown

Thanks for the reply Mike!

Mike,
This may be what is supposed to happen, but the reality is quite different, and always has been, at least for me. The information is days and days out of date, and in some cases weeks out of date (i.e., a listing that closed a couple of weeks ago often still shows as active).
I'm not sure why this is but it is definitely happening, and it's not just every once in a while. Moreover, it has happened (for me) for the entire time I've used Auctiva - over a year now.
I'm not complaining, I track my ebay items using different software so the only time it matters is when I need to buy insurance through Auctiva (and then I have almost always had to ask support to update my stuff before I can). But if someone wanted to use Auctiva to track current information they'd be in trouble.
