Hello,
Ebay is retiring picture manager in August. I have 10,000 store items and 2500 photos attached to these. I just signed up for Auctiva. Will Auctiva store all the photos for my auctions? I am afraid come August I will have ZERO pictures for my 10,000 store inventory items. If not, how can I make sure I don't have to painstakingly relist all the items?
Thanks!
Greg

Hi Greg,

Yes, Auctiva can store all your pictures. Getting them uploaded for easy access and creating/revising listings are the major tasks. I'd recommend you take some time and explore the options and listing methods, i.e. folders, templates, profiles, listing scheduler. A little planning up front will make the cutover easier. Hello Greg, just a quick note. I have just changed from ebay picture manager to Auctiva. What an issue I have had!!! All my pictures were uploaded to Auctiva and I canceled my picture manager only to find when my store listings relist there are no pictures. I have spent the better part of a week putting pictures back on my store listings, which is not an quick process. Not sure if I have done something wrong when I switched but it has been a big problem for me. I only have 1200 listings so I can just imagine the problem you might experiance when you change! But on a good note--- I like Auctiva for new listings! Service is good and response time for any issue is very good. Good Luck.
I have just set up a new auctiva account based on ebay running out in August. It took day of testing all the bits but seems ok and nicer graphics etc! I guess everyone using the pic manager will be looking for new space somewhere. By listing here now and continuing with ebay PM I hope that when august comes round I dont have any left there! Will auctiva cope with the volume coming its way?

I think they will but they'll only be thumbnail size. That's what happened to me last year. I thought I had all my pics here (did, but TINY!) and when I tried to use the "resize" tool, it took them totally out of proportion....so it was basically useless to me to import them. You might try manually uploading. ??
