I read something recently from ebay announcing that we can have our listings automatically post to both the U.S. ebay site and the U.K. site. There was something to check when listing an item through ebay that would allow us to do that. Since I list through Auctiva and not through ebay, is there a way to do that in Auctiva? If not, does anyone know how to edit the listing once it hits ebay so that it will also show on the U.K. site?

Thanks in advance!

Ebay does nickel and dime us to death. You would think the money to go international would mean we would be on all international sites. The truth is they have to look for a special button to push to find us in say Germany or Australia. People do buy from me internationally. Unfortunately I had my first bad experience with a lost book. I think I've been conned.I refunded and then blocked the person from buying from me.I've had people come back after telling me something didn't arrive and want to buy more. They are interested in the books they don't want to pay for. Fool me once..........

Well, I've not had the problem (yet). However, I do have a "plan" to thwart the issue....Auctiva Insurance. It is a CRIME to falsify an Insurance Claim. I like the International First Class rate and have considered doing that for books and other small items with Insurance Only (small charge) for International. If the item is lost or damaged, it means Insurance Claim (and not potential charge back). Buyer would have to cooperate with the Insurance Claim, but PayPal would recognize a Refund on basis of Insurance needs Buyer input to substantiate claim. I was going to write a letter to PayPal folks to see if they would endorse the process, i.e. no charge backs with an Insurance Claim pending and cooperation on claim by Buyer.

That's not cheating the system. It's in fact making the Buyer a criminal for any false filing.

I photo document every shipment/package and the Customs Number is tracked by USPS (even the green ones), so it does show entry in the system to verify USPS receipt of item.

It also gives more money to Auctiva! Big Grin

It's at least a thought.....one that needs more investigation before I can recommend.

Hi Community,

Our technical team is aware that eBay recently added to "International Visibility" option to their list of marketing tools, and we are working to get this option added to the Auctiva lister page as soon as possible. At this point, I anticipate we'll be able to get this option added to the Auctiva website in the first couple weeks of June.

Any additional questions or concerns? Please feel free to contact our customer support team using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx
