Hi, I am trying to move some items from closed listings to a folder. I have created the folder and can see it in the folder drop down. I then go to closed listings and select the listing then move to folder and click the folder. But when I go the the folder the listing is not there and it says "your have no saved listings" I have tried this several times on different occasions and I get the same result. Also can you tell me once I successfully move a listing to a folder can I list items from that folder. Thanks

Hi,

Closed Listings are a track of listings that have ended, but not the full listing itself.

To Save a Closed Listing, use the "Import Listings" feature button on the Closed Listings page. That will retrieve the listing from eBay and store it in the Imported Listings folder in Saved Listings. Normally, you can import a listing that's not older than 90 days.

Hi chreen15,

It sounds like you moved the closed listing in question to a folder on your Closed Listings page and expected to find it within your Saved Listings folder, which it not quite how that process works. As Danno mentioned, if you would like to create a saved listing from a closed listing, you will need to check the box next to that item on your Closed Listings page and then click the "Import Listings" button.

Closed listings and saved listings and actually completely separate formats of listings so, when you move a closed listing to a specific folder, you will only be able to find that listing in that folder when you choose to view items in that folder on your Closed Listings page. Similarly, when you move a saved listing to a specific folder, you will only be able to find that listing in that folder when you choose to view items in that folder on your Saved Listings page.
