Isn't the basic uploader still available under the Images tab?

I'm so glad I found this... HOW do you bypass JAVA???? I hate the new uploader, for a number of reason. THANKS!

Reba, I can't find the Basic Uploader again, and that is my preference. I've looked on every tab, in every part of Auctiva, and I can't find where to change my setting BACK to basic instead of this JAVA!!

Does any one know of another service like Auctiva. I will not be forced to install java on my eBay upload machine. And i will not go out of the edit window to load my picutres in to my auctions. Becouse you did not give us a choice and forced this on us I AM LEAVING...

LoveCubs, Any luck finding out how to set the basic uploader as your default? I, too, have looked under every tab with no success. I've emailed Auctiva but no response yet. Just when I thought things couldn't get much worse with eBay...now this! I'm totally frustrating and wondering if you've had better luck... Thanks!

MrsJimmyB--- I submitted an inquiry on that today... hopefully, I will hear something soon. I just have so many problems with the new system - I just like the Basic uploading and it works much better with my photo editing program. I have to close it and re-open it everytime I want to add more pictures to an Auctiva auction.. everyone's systems are different, but it seems like lots of people are having SOME kind of issue with the Java uploader. As soon as I hear something, I'll get it posted!!!

The basic uploader that had been the default uploader integrated on the lister page is STILL AVAILABLE to use--no one is being forced to use the new image uploader. You have two choices of uploaders on the Images tab--the basic one and the new java one. Upload your images before creating your listing using the old basic uploader.
