Getting Started and Having problems listing and setting up account

Not sure what you are trying to do. I find Auctiva very easy to use. It sounds like you are trying to mesh TL and Activa together, not practical. From where are you trying to upload images from?

When I opened my account with Auctiva it uploaded my active listings and store items and some of the photos are not showing on the ticker tape in some of my listings. Some show and some don't. The way that I understood it when I started this Auctivea was that what I had saved with Turbo Lister that I cold easily upload those listings to Auctiva and I see where I can't unless it is listed somewhere else. Plus I tried to start a new listing with Auctiva and I had to go back and print out a copy of the category #'s from Ebay to use with this site. It doesn't seem that easy of a program to use. Sometimes it seems like it takes forever for a page to change and sometimes when I click on something it won't change at all. I don't find this program a simple one yet. Maybe after I really get into it it will get better. I hope!

Auctiva imports listings from eBay which could have been created using Turbo Lister. It will not import what you have in the TL program on your PC. As far as your speed issues make sure you clear your cache. Try this free program:

If you are on dial-up, set your items/page in listing and images to 10. That might speed things up. Go to help and try the tutorials. Everything here is laid out pretty good. Just takes a little time and experimenting.

cewinn - My first question is do you have all your images loaded up through Auctiva? I know with Turbolister they can take it straight from your pc to ebay, but if you are trying to see them in your showcase it will take time for Auctiva ti pick these up.

2nd Question - Why on earth did you print out the category list? When you are in the description area of Auctiva, there is a button to click to choose which category, you only put the # in if you know what it is. Once you have done this make sure and also click to change item specifics.

I do not know where you heard that your info could be transferred from Turbolister to Auctiva - this is incorrect unless this is a new feature they started this past week. You can import lisitngs from ebay that were loaded from Turbolister, that is all I am aware of.

As far as the speed and nothing changing - what browser are you using? Are you on MAC or WIndows? These are all things that we would need to know to direct you on the right path.

Also - if your completed listings were relists after joining Auctiva, you will need to list them through Auctiva anytime you relist or send to your ebay store. Unless this has changed, once the auction ends the first time it does not show the images in an active listing and therefore reflects this is in the showcase with an image not available.

When you are also selecting extras for your listing - it is correct in showing you the prices - these extras are not free. No site can bypass ebay's fees on this - it is just showing you what you will be charged when you insert to ebay.
