Hi kolstrom. They're suppose to be changed in early November. Here's a page with them listed:

They've been glitchy for some time now, I've read on the boards. And have experienced it first hand, even though I never, ever use them. They keep getting added to my listings, with the wrong info! Takes a revise to go in and get rid of it.

Hope they get it under control soon.

My post was about "item specifics" which up until now was limited to designating an item as "new" which Auctiva lets you select when listing. It's really important to select "new" as if you qualify your listings will appear on eBay express. What's happening now is additional fields on eBay which you can only set on eBay.

It's good to know what categories are changing, and thanks for that!

That's what I was talking about being added to my listings when I never use them. It's discouraging, to say the least. Now with the shipping issues, I've decided to give myself a mini break and just work on saving listings and taking more pics.

Thankfully the item specifics haven't shown up except on a couple of the last little batch. I wonder about anyone else having it happen. :|

The Category your item is in and "item specifics" are tied together in the sense that different categories will have different specifics. If you've specifed your item as "New" on Auctiva, this should show up on your eBay listing:

Description
Item Specifics - Item Condition
Condition: New

If you add more specifics through eBay, they'll show up as well. (and betcha the search engines will key in)
This probably doesn't affect all categories, but it certainly does mine. Hope this clarifies.
