Help! How to get PA sales tax off a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY Listing?

Hi,

On the one-page lister, to the right of the "Local Pickup" for shipping, fill-in "0" zero for the shipping cost (equivalent to free shipping); or if you have a charge for local pickup, fill-in the appropriate amount. Try that with the PA 6%, which I assume you are a registered business in PA and must collect.

There is actually a defect in our system that prevents sellers from specifying sales tax when the "Local Pick-up Only" shipping option is selected. Therefore, in order to post this listing successfully, you will need to make sure the "Charge" field is blank and "Select" is chosen from the adjacenty "State of" drop-down menu. You could then potentially add the tax to the listing using eBay's "Revise your Item" form once it is active.

Thank you. It has now passed the error test so we'll see if it gets launched tonight as scheduled. I wonder why we can't put a tax amount in local shipping though? It's still a sale afterall. OK, thanks all!
