Just listed this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290159637238
and had to do it through ebay rather than auctiva as it is a charitable auction. I used an auctiva template I have previously used and editted in to my auction. Now I have a problem with the width of the auction not filling the page. Does anyone have a solution? I need to fix this before it gets any bids.
Thanks Steve

From what I can gather you want the advertisement to fill the width of the page. In other words no matter what resolution the prospect buyer/bidder views it at it "fills the page".

Now I have not looked at the HTML nor am I familar with the template.

You want take a look at the size of the table(s) holding the content. *IF* the template has one table as a "container" for everything else then look at that tables width. It should be 100%.

These days CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are used alot in layouts as they are more flexible and powerful. They also take considerable learning and browsers in some areas interpret things differently even incorrectly. MSIE and FireFox are probably the most compliant.
Hi thank you for the info meow! You are dead on with what I was looking to do. I editted the auction description with a 800 x 600 photo and got the desired look. The template is not what I wanted it to look like but I do have a presentable auction now.
Hopefully Auctiva will support Ebay Giving charitable auctions soon
Any help in generating some interest in the auction is appreciated 1963 Willys Jeep Howe Pumper Fire Truck 3,300 miles
