Hey everyone,

I've posted several listings with auctiva so far, so I wouldn't consider myself a rookie. However, I'm having a major problem with an error message that has started to pop up today. I'm confused because I'm using my same "master profile" that I've always used; I've never gotten this error message before.

The error message is:

Your application encountered an error. This request is missing required value in input tag <InternationalShippingServiceOptions>.<ShippingServiceOption>.<ShipToLocations>.

I understand the field that the error message is referring to, however, I don't wish to ship to an international location (this is why I don't have an international shipping location value imputed in). I checked CANADA, just to see if this would get rid of this error, and it still gave me the same error message.

Any suggestions? Frown Thanks!

I'm having the same error, using the same profile that I've launched over 50 auctions with over the last week or so. The profile worked just fine until a few minutes ago. I do have international shipping and the field does have a shipping location filled in, but for some reason auctiva doesn't recognize or see it or something. Even though it did dozens of times before.

I see that you were able to post an auction after you posted your message here this morning. I take it you were able to get things working?

If you guys are able to post, can you let us know here on the boards what you are doing to avoid the shipping error?

Also, I noticed that neither dmhcollectibles or joepa722 have error events on their accounts. An error event will happen everytime a listing fails to post. Are you guys deleting the error events? Or is it never even letting you get to the point of trying to post? i.e., is the error happening on the listing creation page when you try to post it?

If you have specific listings in your account that are causing this problem, please let me know the title of them as well.

I haven't been able to do a new ad (based on my previously working fine master profile) for almost one day now. I haven't gotten around the shipping error. The ad that launched this morning was done a couple of days ago and scheduled to launch this morning back a couple of days ago before this started up. Lister won't let me schedule any ad now.(it's 12:30 pm eastern time here)

When I try to schedule an ad it just won't let me schedule it - when I try to schedule it comes back with a message something like "you need to put in a shipping destination" before this ad can be scheduled (even though it DOES have a shipping destination).

There's no error event in my account because it never gets to that point. It won't schedule or post, so there's no record of it in my account of being scheduled and failing to post - other than the saved ad itself.

Thanks for the update. I tried to schedule the ad that I had been unable to, and it did schedule to post tonight.

I noticed though, when I checked it over (being compulsive) before scheduling it, that Auctiva had added some extra shipping options on its own (3 types of US shipping - I only use one in my profile) and 3 types of international shipping (I only use two in my profile).

What's up with that?

But the good news is, the dern thing did schedule after I removed the excess shipping options.
