Hi, Ive had this happen before except it wasnt trying to recommend a different address just a different zipcode. I used the one the post office recommended because after all they are the postal service. Secondly as far as I know you can print shipping labels for any kind of shipping on USPS.com. You just need to open an account and then calculate the shipping. Then you will see links for printing the labels.
thanks for your replies, guys (hey i made a rhyme..) the reason it was trying to change it was b/c the first letter of the street name was an 'O' , so it wanted to make it a zero and add it to the numerical part of the address, AND it had a diff. zip, which made the addy incorrect... so i called paypal and asked them, they were confused cuz it IS a confirmed addy...and after *much* confering (sp?) they said i should send to the one the usps suggested, and that i was covered by them if the buyer didn't get it or complained.. but i care more about the buyer not getting it than being covered.. anyway, his street name was abbreviated, so i ended up editing his addy just to take the '.' out, and that worked, it let me print it. but i assume that it will happen again, and it's pretty stupid.. why does it say 'we suggest you contact the buyer to confirm the address or edit it below', but then only let you edit it? there's no 'override' or something to say, no, the paypal address is right.... i have the same prob. w/ my addy cuz my street goes by two names, but it's the same zip, and the same house #... but the address the usps suggested for that guy would have sent it somewhere else, and being a new seller, i don't want to piss anybody off *already*! ya know?

Rick, your absolutely right man. I logged into my usps account and you were on the money. You can only print labels that way for Priority, Express & Global. I must have printed normal postage through paypal and thought I had done it on USPS before.

Its been a long time since I sent a package other than priority or media mail. I dont offer any other service now because for one, My customers get their items faster for usually a few cents more. And two, I got tired of scrambling for free regular boxes. My room looks like a USPS priority box warehouse now..lolol.
I was looking at your auctions rick, and I noticed the wacky packages. What a blast from the past. I used to have boxes and boxes of those things when I was kid. Thats where all my lunch money went. I couldnt wait to get a new one with that super hard break your teeth bubble gum that came with them..lol. I think they were 10 cents a piece and you got like 4 or 5 stickers and piece of gum in a package.

On my birthday my mother would buy me an entire box of them from G.C. Murphy's department store...lol. I was in heaven. After seeing yours, I realize now that I still want to collect them...I wish I had the ones from when I was kid..I suspect some of them would be quite valuable now. Love your stuff rick, where do you find that kind of merchandise?
