I just purchased a new template. I was able to get my photos to show up inside the border that was provided by the designer, however they are showing up really big, and I don't have the code for the "click to supersize". Any assistance would be appreciated. If it makes a difference, the way I added the photos was to just go into the html and add the url. TIA!

If you are using Auctiva to list with your custom template, then you do not need to add photos straight to the html.

I have a custom template as well and select it when I am on the listing page (after saving it under custom templates on the listing page). While there, I can write my description and select and edit what pictures I want to use (they can even be from an external host). Auctiva automatically resizes the photo and adds the supersize feature.

You may need to add the Auctiva html tags to your new template if it has not been done yet. Most sellers of custom templates will do this for you (mine did) but if not and you need help doing this, please feel free to ask those of us here!

Thanks for replying. I do have another template in which the designer added the correct tags, so I know what you're talking about. This designer doesn't use Auctiva. I did try adding the photos the way you said, but they didn't show up inside of the photo border that she has set up. TIA for any help you can give me with the tags. (I'm afraid that I know just enough html to be dangerous Confused))
Fortunately for those of us who are html challenged (I am SO in that club), Auctiva makes it very easy to use their tags.

Take the html from the template and copy and paste it into the Create your own template section of the listing page. (Always make sure you have the original html saved somewhere else like in Notepad in case you do make mistakes.)

Then switch over to "Design Editor" by clicking on the link. This window will show you what your template really looks like. In that window, place the tags from the left margin where you want them in the template (i.e. Desriptions, Images, etc) You may need to center them using the editor also. Then you can save the work you did AND preview what the template will look like. If it is not how you like it, just go back and edit.

If you try this and find yourself really struggling with the tags, let me know and I will do the tags for you (not a problem!).

I have to take my twins out grocery shopping for a while but will check back in to see how you are doing.
