In order to specify flat rate shipping in your shipping profile, you just need to check the radio button next to "calculated shipping" - which is located right below the one labeled "flat rate shipping". You will then see the option to enter the weight and package size of your item, as well as the shipping services you are willing to offer.
You can always change those values for each individual listing you create from your profile so you don't have to worry about choosing options that will necessarily apply to ALL listings you may post through Auctiva. When creating a profile, you're basically just entering information that you would like to prefill in the lister page when you create listings from that profile.
