I am an ex-Auctiva user who just redid all his listings pulling all the Auctiva scrolling window code from his listings and used ebays one page lister...NOW, ALL those listings have the auctiva scroll window on them...I didn't want that...that is why I used the eBay lister, Dreamweaver and pulled all the code

If I have to go through all my listings again and pull the auctiva code again..and then upload again I'm not going to be too happy. Can someone tell me how to STOP the window from invading my listings and how to remove it via auctiva?

Hi PocketChalker,

I just reviewed your account with username “PocketChalker” and verified that you have the "Append Auctiva Scrolling Gallery to my listings" disabled. Therefore, our system has not been able to add the scrolling gallery to your listings since that setting was enabled.

The only way that the scrolling gallery would show up on new listings posted after that setting was enabled would be if you posted them from closed listings that contain the scrolling gallery using the "relist" or "sell similar" option on eBay and did not remove the scrolling gallery HTML from the description HTML when doing so.

If you have active listings that you would like to remove the scrolling gallery from, the only way to do so would be to remove the scrolling gallery HTML from the description HTML of each using eBay’s “Revise your Item” form.

If you need further assistance with this matter, I recommend contacting our customer support team using the form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx

What's ironic is....

I did stop the listings. Then I edited them removing anything to do with Auctiva. relisted them through eBays page. After that I went and previewed my listings and the Auctiva thing was reinserted.

I then went to Auctiva and deactivated the window. I didn't think that every listing I did from now on would have the scroll automatically put in even if I listed from another lister.

Hi PocketChalker,

Thanks for the clarification. It sounds like the problem with the work flow you described is that you disabled the "Append Auctiva Scrolling Gallery to my listings" setting after relisting those items. If you had disabled that setting before relisting the items through eBay with the scrolling gallery removed, the scrolling gallery would not have been added to them.

As long as the “Append Auctiva Scrolling Gallery to my listings” setting in your account is enabled and you have a valid token, any listings you post (whether through Auctiva or eBay) will automatically have the scrolling gallery added to them.
