I listed a ton of auctions yesterday, mainly kids clothes. Well, since then, I have found the name of one of the "lines". I would make alot more money if that name were in my title or in a subtitle. For some reason I cannot edit the title when I try to revise it. I have just enough characters left to do it, but I do not even get the option. Nor do I get an option to promote with a subtitle. I can add every other promotion, including highlighting and bolding my title, etc. Anyone know how I can either edit my title or add a subtitle without ending and relisting? I have a bid already and a few people watching. I am sure I could edit my title in the past. Not so sure why they won't allow it now. Thanks for any help.

I had found that page earlier and according to it I cannot edit the title, but I can add promotions, like the subtitle. When I go to revise it, that option is never there either. I have 1 bid but 6 days left. I should be able to at least add a subtitle. I have emailed ebay for an answer, I would love to know why I cannot add a subtitle. Makes no sense. It would make me and ebay more money.
I thought I could add a subtitle up to the end of the auction too. It is not even an option when I try to revise. Every other promotion, like bold and highlighted is available. I emailed the help center and they sent me a link back for the site map. No help what-so-ever. That was the first place I looked. It's like they didn't even read my email. Oh well.
The "problem" stems from the one bid you have. eBay does not allow certain editing if there's a bid already in place.

If your item has already received a bid/purchase, you can only:

Add to the item description or add a second category (exception: if your listing already has a bid/purchase AND ends within 12 hours, you can't add to your description or add a second category).

You can also add optional seller features to increase your item's visibility.
