How to describe an item as new or used without item specifics?

I am using eBay UK and am trying to list items through Auctiva which have no item specifics.
Normally on eBay there is a box to describe the item as new or used but using Auctiva this only appears when using item specifics.
I did ask tech support but they said you can only do it using specifics, this means that I have to upload my items and then immediately go to eBay and revise them all - a very lenghty process!!
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

The item specifics in Auctiva is a pop-up window that comes up when you click on the item specifics link. That link is right underneath the spot where you select the category. The link is in blue text and doesn't really catch your attention because it is the same size font as the wording for the category stuff. Using it when you create a listing in Auctiva eliminates the need to go back to ebay to revise your listings just to add the item specifics.

Thanks for that but my problem is I am listing items which have NO item specifics but on ebay uk there is a box to check for new or used on every item (except antiques!). This means that I have to go back and revise most of my items!

Me too! I can not add or edit the "New" or "Used" function in part of my listing of Auctiva. It is strange that some listings have this link but some do not have it...
Who know why?
