We paid quite a bit for a woman to make 2 templates for us, she remains unfindable now, and the background wallpaper is not showing up in our templates. We put up how it's showing up wrong in practice writer which the link is http://practicewriter.com/vu/?5FEDB .
We asked her what was wrong and she replied: "Ok what it is, is that the background code part, de b was missing. I don't know if you use auctiva, but if so, you should let them know".
I do not speak HTML but was wondering if some one can help understand how to add what she's saying to this html that she sent us. She seems to think it has something to do with Auctiva somehow, but either way it's still not working properly. We've been trying on this since last Oct!!
You can see at the top of the HTML portion below that the words 'photobucket..back2.jpg is where the link for the wallpaper should go. The top part of the HTML for this is:
<style type="text/css"><!--.style1 {font-size: 24px}.style2 {font-size:
36px}.style3 {font-size: 30px}.style4 {font-size: 12px}.style5 {font-size:
14px}.style7 {font-family: verdana;font-size: 10px;color:
#001723;}--></style><table border="2" bordercolor="#001723" cellpadding="15"
cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td style="border-collapse: collapse;" b
ackground="http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r434/designbythepixel/custom_desig
n/usedblue/back2.jpg"><div
align="center"><table style="border-collapse: collapse; text-align: center;
font-family: tahoma; color: rgb(5, 23, 35);" background="http://i354.photobucket
.com/albums/r434/designbythepixel/custom_design/usedblue/back3.jpg"
border="2" bordercolor="#001723" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
width="800"><tbody><tr><td><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
width="100%"><tbody><tr><td><img name="leftnav0" src="http://i354.photobucket.co
m/albums/r434/designbythepixel/custom_design/usedblue/headerladies.jpg"

Can anyone who speaks HTML tell us what is wrong with that part?
Thank you guys so much!

Hi,

The link is actually OK (pic is there at photobucket). The problem is in the HTML. The word background is broken into two lines, "b" and then "ackground", which you can also see in your post of the code in the Forum. Remove the return and save at practicewriter for test.

Here's what that did for me.

Hi,

I would counsel that a new pricing model often "reflects" what is or might be a new paradigm in a relationship and method of operation. To make it simple, there is never a price without a reason (or service) for justification (IMO). Also, exclusivity sometimes comes with a price that can invert a business model to operate different, but better for co-op members.

I see things in the Auctiva pricing model that make me want to "wait and see" what eBay is going to announce (hopefully soon). That's what I'm counseling for those sellers that I directly advise.

The eBay seller's "natural condition [of late] is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster". Somehow, I think this mystery on WHY? all these seemingly obtuse charges from Auctiva has a happy ending and will turn out well. Wink
