I just want to make sure I understand this. Is Auctiva changing all listings to secure HTTPS, as they made changes with active content? Will any new listings I post be secure? And, lastly, do I have to do anything on my end?
We have already updated the hosting for images and the links that previously lead back to Auctiva as needed and you should not need to make any changes in relation to links inserted by Auctiva or using the tool in the description editor to add links to your descriptions. Newly posted listings should not encounter any difficulty.
If you encounter an issue related to a link, please feel free to file a support case from under the Help tab of the site letting us know the item and the details you encounter so we can look into it.
I just checked with i-ways and I have 194 listings, out of 289, that have HTTPS issues. What is puzzling, is that some are old listings and some are new. One listing was posted on September 8th. Why are some HTTP and others HTTPS?
Unfortunately, without seeing the listings involved, it is difficult to say why some have issue with the updates and others do not - please keep in mind that we can only update active listings that are eligible for revision on eBay, so there may be listings that have older content still in them and please also note that the entire eBay site is not fully updated for this, so there may be references to pages which still require updating.
If you would like us to take a look into your specific listings, please provide some examples of listings that have encountered this difficulty in a support case, which you can file at any time from under the Help tab of the site so we can have a look for you.
