I am wondering about buying a domain name how this works versus

I was just wondering if I bought a domain name how does this work with the listing on ebay & with the auctiva store? Does the auctions from ebay promote your website domain? I am new to this so I am actually clueless. If someone would please explain how it all fits together & how I would actually make a store by buying a domain name. Thank you so much... remember I am clueless so as MUCH info as possible would be AWESOME & thanks a bunch in advance! Tammy

I think the main problem you have doing this is ebay! Ebay do not allow you to promote your website on your listings. That is to say they do not want you selling the same things on your website as you are on ebay. But you can do the other way around, that is promote ebay by using you store window on your website showing all the items you have for sale there. You have to be careful how you promote your website as ebay will let you know how they feel about this in no uncertain terms. One of the best ways to promote your website is to give everyone that buys off you a 10% discount note in their package that they have purchased from ebay. That way the will visit your website and hopefully buy something!
