I changed the empty window text 2 days ago but it still says NO ITEMS FOR SALE. And it says to CLICK FOR DETAILS which opens to the store items that don't show the items I listed yesterday due to slow import. I only have about seven items showing. Please take that NO ITEMS FOR SALE permanently off our listings. It is terribly misleading. Why is it there? It should say CLICK ON SELLERS OTHER ITEMS - not say >>> That's it folks! - Click here and see a portion of the items. That does not work for the seller! If I could have my text used instead of the automatic NO ITEMS FOR SALE it would be a big improvement~!

Hi hippophile1,

I just sent a message ovet to our QA department requesting that they look into this issue.

The good news is that our extended maintenance period is completed so your store window should repopulate with a selection of your active listings the next time it refreshes, which it does about every 2 hours.

I'm back with the same complaint about the empty window text not being what I set it to be. Again, why does it say: no items for sale - when I changed it in customize store window weeks ago - to say something else?

I just filed a support case regarding this exact issue. I changed the text in the store window also and asked why my text was not showing up. The response I rec'd was that when the site is down for maintenance, they can't pull up our individual messages. I then told them they need to change the text from "no items for sale" as you are right, it is misleading. I have a store and always have at least 900 items for sale. The response I got was he "will forward my suggestion" and [my] input is appreciated"

We've add this to the list of requested changes. In the case above we were doing our weekly maintenance and our database isn't accessible then. Therefore we can't pull out your custom messages.

We'll add a feature that detects this and instead shows a nice link to view your other items for sale on eBay for buyers to click.
