1. I looked at events this morning and it appears the day I registered, something failed. It says "eBay Account was not registered for needed notifications" What does this mean? I've had my eBay account for almost 4 years.

2. I activate the counter on every listing I do. When I look at my active listings on Auctiva, it shows N/A, even though they have had hits.

3. One of my listings has a current bid, but it doesn't show that it does on Auctiva.

Do my last 2 issues have to do with whatever the first issue is? I've looked through FAQ's but I don't see any info regarding this "failure" listed on my events.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Saffirezz,

1.The warning about ebay notificaton simply means that, although the listing was posted successfully, you will not receive the email notification from eBay confirming that the listing was posted.

2. Have you signed up with Sellathon? You need to sign up before it will work.

3. Auctiva is a little slow at catching up with current bids sometimes.
Thank you for responding so quickly.

I didn't realize I had to sign up with Sellathon...I thought that was just a name for Auctiva's counter. I have signed up now though. Wow, a great deal of info they give you!

Will my hits just not show for the listings I had active prior to signing up with Sellathon? It's showing on the charts over there, but still not on Auctiva.

I now have bids on 2 out of 3 and neither are showing on Auctiva. I guess it doesn't matter as I can check on them through My Ebay.

Thanks again! Wink
I've been here for months and I still have the Sellathon counter on my listings but I've never signed up (that is, I'm not a paying Sellathon customer). So the counter should be working (the counter's free but the stats info isn't). Also, you should be seeing hits on your Active Listings page. I think there was a problem with it showing N/A at one point but I'm not sure what came of it (mine were showing N/A but are now showing the hits).
I don't think your auction listing goes live immediately with Sellathon. I think they refresh in a two or three hour cycle. I have noticed the same thing with my listings.

But, the information given by Sellathon is enormously useful. I particularly like knowing the keywords that were typed in which brought them to my listing. It is very useful when setting up categories for your store. After five hits, they start showing how much time was spent by the visitor. On one of my audio book listings, a visitor sat there for over 10 minutes. Boy, did they get a good listen about my product! It will also show you the category in which they searched. If it shows to be a Direct Link from somewhere, it means someone e-mailed them the link to my listing. You can determine the originating location of the visitor, and it will tell you who has your listing on a watch. Finally, it will tell you if it is being sniped and by whom.

Didn't mean to get so long-winded...but Sellathon is worth its weight in gold to me.
