I have a NooB Question! How to choose which eBay site to list on?

Currently, Auctiva is only supported in eBay US and eBay UK. I believe there is talk of adding more international options.

However, I don't think this should really be a problem. If you are including Australia as a shipping option, it should still show-up fine on eBay Australia. I sell to Australia, and I know my listings appear on your eBay.

Thanks! That is really weird that they don't support other eBay sites. You woudl think if they can do one, they can do the rest! I haven't listed with Auctive yet; I was just concerned it might list my prices in US$ or something. I'll have to keep a good eye on that and make sure I can list it in AU$ or I'll have to fiddle with conversions!!

I believe it'll convert your prices to US dollars or UK pounds, depending on which eBay you list with (or it may happen on eBay's end) but I think they'll still show up as AUS dollars when you look at the listings on eBay Australia.

Actually, I'm probably wrong on that first part. I think you'll have to figure the conversion yourself for US or UK amounts. But I do think they'll show up in AUS $ on the Australia site.

You were right the second time, thanks Rick. I put in "$5.00" and it ended up listing it as $5.00 US, so I have stuck with that but it's annoying. If a person viewing my stamps on the Australian site has their eBay preferences to show AU$ then yes it will show it to them, but that doesn't help me much!! It's such a pain but I guess worth it for the little slide show you get down the bottom of the item page. Very handy and professional-looking.

I would like to know how you get listed on other sites too. I sell worldwide and my listings are only showing in the US where I am registered. They don't show up in the UK or Australia. I checked.

Any ideas?

Do you have your shipping set to those countries?

Also, I think some (all?) of the eBay sites have a link at the end of search results for results from other countries. But perhaps that's only for countries where the primary language is different from the site's itself? I'm not sure.
