I need HELP PLEASE!

hi, I am not totally computer savvy but if you want to delete cookies go to " my computer" then "control panel" then "internet options" and in the internet options you will see a section that says "delete cookies" & or temporary internet files.

Hi, we need more info, what is the error message and when do you get it ?

I get the message when I'm on the step to upload my photos.This is what it says.Then it cuts me off of Auctiva.

Hi this is Microsoft error message, there is probably a set up problem with your IE6 installation are you sure it was only cookies that were deleted.

Basically it means IE6 suffered a catastrophic error, often this is because it tries to execute a piece of code that is not where it expects it be, e.g. like an express train unexpectedly running out of a railway track . . . crunch !

In response to the end of that message did you click send, because if there is a recognised fault they will tell you what it was.

Yes,I did click send (the error report). Now what? Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Well your IE is obviously working well enough for accessing this forum so I would suggest you file a support request and give them as much step by step information you can. It may be that they can tell you how to restore the lost cookie (if that is what's missing).

I can only clutch at straws here but is your token with eBay still valid, if not click on get new token. This information is available on the 'My Account' tab 'eBay account information'.

Hi, just my two-cents. I've had so many problems with IE that I went to Mozilla/Firefox. It doesn't shut down the way Microsoft's IE does. Its free to download too and lots of people are using it because of the ongoing microsoft crashes. Thank God for Firefox! -esp for us non-tech people.

Am I gonna use it? Weeellll, personally, I loaded the E-Bay toolbar on IE6 and the blerdy thing annoyed the heck out of me for various reasons. So , will wait till the eager-beavers have thoroughly tested it, before having a go.
