Images wont upload from computer

I have been using auctiva for only a week or two. It came highly rated and I love it's features. It will not upload my images from my computer using any of the 3 methods. Support has been giving me sugestions and none of them work. So far I have tried several of their server addresses and turned off my popup blocker and Norton. I get a red box that says it could not be upload. I like auctiva and would hate to quit using it becasue I cannot upload pictures, which is an obvious requirement for ebay store items.

Also, it will not update my feedback in sales transactions.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, perhaps you can tell us what operating system, browser and version you are using and whether PC or Mac, as usually this feature is very reliable.

I presume you are using broadband or similar, i.e. not dial-up.

Also what you actually do.

I am using windows xp, IE 7, broadband, PC.

As far as feedback - when I generate a token and update my transaction activity, everything is updated, except for feedback given or receiv ed through myebay. I cannot find where to manually do this.

I am trying the drop and drag feature and the basic html method. both fail. support emailed me this morning and said to flush my dns, which did not work. The only solution they have for me at this point is to use another computer, which I don't have.

I have spent 2 weeks setting up auctiva and I really like it, but it is useless if I can't get pics up.

I do not know how to do that. Frankly, I am not computer savvy enough to fix any problem that may come up. I am afraid to uninstall ie7 and then ie6 has a problem installing and I cannot get on the internet.

I tried uploading from another computer and it did not work.

Hi, I can understand your concerns regarding reverting to IE6.

If it is still a problem on another PC, it sounds as though the image files themselves may be the problem, what format and size are they ?

Also assuming you are using the drag & drop feature with IE, what actually happens on your screen ?

Thank you for you help in this matter. the pics I am trying to upload are from my digital camera - about 280 to 320 kb jpgs.

using the basic html, it tries to upload in yellow and then says it failed in red.

using drop and drag, it tries to upload and then i get a red box with the file names of my pics and it says it could not upload them.

that's it.

I finally fixed the problem. My file names were too big - go figure.

now i just need to get the "about us information" in design mode so that it is readable to customers.

A little more error checking by the uploading software to flag this up as an error would have saved so much time
