I have a large product base, and have always used programs like Turbo Lister which supports CSV uploads. Is there any way to use Auctiva to upload a large number of products at once through a file upload, or do they all have to be done one at a time?

That's an interesting question, but the paradigm with Turbolister is different somewhat from the standard Auctiva one-page lister and submission method (everything stored on Auctiva's servers). Auctiva does have a product called "Mr. Poster" that I've not used or investigated. I would guess it may be similar to ebay's Turbolister or Blackthorne, but I don't know if it's current or legacy.

If you want to do bulk submission from Auctiva, they do have a free Scheduler. You can "Import" your closed listings to your Saved Listings library on Auctiva, modify them with their templates, pic enhancemnts, etc., and then use the Scheduler to send them to ebay with the Scrolling Gallery and Auctiva Store integrated automatically in the service.

I'm not sure that answers the question, but I can see a large Store needing a path for "Auctiva"tion. Big Grin Are you up and running with Auctiva, or trying to figure-out how before making the leap?

Right now, I'm in the process of "Making the Leap" to Auctiva. I don't believe that just because I have a large-inventory business I have to use an expensive service to help management my auctions...but on the other side, Turbo-Lister is full of bugs...and I really don't want to use that. I think the answer for me is to list to eBay, then import into Auctiva. I think that will work.

If you have your inventory up and listed, Auctiva automatically does an update to all your active listings (a one time at startup) to add the Scrolling Gallery and place the items in your Auctiva Store. It can be a little unsettling, as the listings are pulled (disappear) and go through a fraud check and reindexing at ebay. Here's the FAQ:

At that point, they should also appear on your Active listings page at Auctiva. When those listings end, they move to the Closed listings page, where you can IMPORT them to your Saved Listings, i.e. they are stored and can be fully edited with the one-page lister. You can then use the Auctiva one-page lister to modify and list at will. From the Closed listings page, you can also Relist, so you can keep them going while you enhance with Auctiva features, which can obviously take some time. Also, there is a few mass-change capabilities as buttons on the Saved Listing page: Find & Replace and Bulk Edit. Those can be time savers.

Again, hope these options and suggestions can help.
