Hi.. I have 3 auctions ready to be uploaded to ebay but auctiva won't upload them... it says "The following 1 listing(s) are posting to eBay: " but nothing show up in my ebay page .
I know about ebay fraud protection when you subscribe with any third parties like auctiva for the first time . I am using auctiva since a while now and I didn't have any problem like this before except the first time I listed items after I joined auctiva ..ebay wouldn't show my items in the auctions pages but the items showed in my ebay page but today that didn't happened!!! Auctiva confirming posting the items but nothing show in my ebay page.
Is there anybody having like this problem today? Confused

Sounds as though you may have some errors in your auction. From the top of your listing page check the right hand side for "Events" Green events are auctions that succesfully posted, Red events are ones that have some sort of problem. Most likely an API error. Which is something eBay sends to Auctiva if you are missing information in yor listing details or have an invalid entry. Most times you have to go through the help page and contact Auctiva support to find out the exact problem.
however sometimes another member may be able to give you a bit of guidance.
It's really confusing and that's why I wanted to ask here maybe somebody had like this problem .. I still waiting for an answer from auctiva help support then I will put here what happened.

HERE ARE THE GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!

I got a reply from Auctiva help support ... The problem was from a picture I put in my auctions and eBay consider it as java script and that's why they reject the listing every time Auctiva send the auctions to eBay. Auctiva help support mentioned that eBay security is so sensitive to any code or picture could be in java script.

Here is a tip from Auctiva help support to know what's exactly the problem you are facing if yout get any kind of errors or you can't upload your auctions to eBay:
Log in to you Auctiva account->My Account->Events. and there you will be able t see all errors you get and why is that.
I have to say that Auctiva help support is really impressive ... Great customer support and great service plus it's freeeeeeee Big Grin

I hope this hint will be helpful for others who are having any kind of problems during listing items on eBay using AUCTIVA.
I'm a first-time Auctiva user. Posted 8 listings, got an API error on each one saying something about 3rd party checkout. I don't have 3rd party checkout, don't even know what it is! As far as I know, people who click on "Buy It Now" will go through the normal PayPal process. PayPal is the only payment method I'll accept. I got 8 emails from eBay confirming that my listings were posted but not a single one of them shows up when I do a search on eBay, not even searching under my eBay seller name. Now what do I do? I'm really bummed about all the time I wasted using Auctiva to end up with nothing.
I'm also in the same boat as you guys. I posted my first listing today using Auctiva, received confirmation from eBay that the listing was active, but I can't find it during a search. My counters also suggest nobody else can find my litings either. I've used the great advice on here, but don't seem to have any errors. It all seems very strange.

I wonder whether it was because I already had a non-Auctiva listing active. Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Flight in Winter (& others),

The reason your listings have disappeared from eBay's search results pages is because, as a result of appending the scrolling gallery to your listings, eBay is evaluating your listings to verify that you have not become a victim of fraud. This process is known in the eBay world as "re-indexing" and is liable to happen any time you post new listings or make revisions to existing listings.

According to eBay's help page on the subject, which can be accessed via the following link, this process can take up to 6 hours: http://pages.ebay.com/help/find/questions/wheres-my-item.html. If you have any further questions about this specific issue, I recommend you contact eBay’s customer support department.

Any additional questions or concerns? Please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

I would seriously suggest that someone updates the Auctiva website to let people know not to join if there is little time left on preexisting auctions or at least let them decide if they want the active ones modified. I had no idea the change would be so devastating to my income.

Your automatic modification process is costing me hundreds of dollars and I am much less than pleased. People cannot find my items are the clock it ticking. It appears I will end up selling some items for pennies on the dollar and no one will reimburse me for that loss.

Flight, you certainly aren't the first to feel this way. While you are much less than pleased, please do remember it is eBay, not Auctiva, that does the re-indexing.

We want Auctiva to somehow let people know this. I personally don't like seeing Auctiva get 'blamed' for something that eBay does.

I don't like how it must feel to think all of one's listings are completely gone, frantically trying to find out what happened -
Where did my listings go?! Is all that hard work just gone *poof*?! Why did this happen?! If they show back up, how long will it take?! WHY didn't someone TELL me this would happen???!!!

And it's pretty infuriating to me when someone says they will end up selling items for pennies and it costs them hundreds of dollars or even thousands in sales. With re-indexing, this may very well be the case. Listings obviously do disappear! However, it is Not Auctiva doing it. Unless someone just starting is told this, they don't know. How could they know? Seriously, just how Could they know?

Auctiva, you guys and gals are obviously a brilliant bunch or we wouldn't be here. I know I'm not alone in how grateful I am for this site.
Isn't there some sort of reasonable solution? Surely there is SOMEthing that can be done. People thinking that they are losing money because of Auctiva cannot be a good thing.

And this circle continues...
Please, please place a notice on new accounts.
