Hi there frenzy, I am an Aussie too and have just used Auctiva for one of my listings. It works great, the only thing is there is no place in the payment section for Direct Deposit, so I have only listed one item so far as I don't think my bank account details will show up in checkout as they do when listing through Turbo Lister and this is a bit inconvenient for me with the amount I sell, I need my bank account details to show up automatically with the amount of sales I do, but Auctiva is great and the scrolling window that comes automatically on your other listings even if done by Turbo Lister, really do improve you sales.
HI THERE, THANKS FOR WRITING TO ME, YES WE HAVE ONLY TRIALED 1 OR 2 LISTINGS ALSO, WITH MY HOURS OF READING THE MESSAGE BOARD YESTERDAY I DISCOVERED THAT TO ADD IN YOUR DIRECT DEPOSIT AS AN OPTION WE HAVE TO REVISE EVERY ITEM ONCE LISTED THROUGH AUCTIVA AND THEN ADD IN THE BANK DEPOSIT OPTION AS WE WOULD IN THE EBAY CHECKOUT, THIS IS GOING TO TAKE TIME TO REVISE EVERY AUCTION AS WE HAVE ABOUT 50 ITEMS A WEEK? SO NOT VERY GOOD TO US BUT WE DO LOVE THE NEW GRAPHICS AND OPTIONS THERE ARE TO IMPROVE THE LOOK OF OUR PAGES, SO WE ARE INDECISIVE ABOUT GOING FORWARD AND USING THIS RIGHT NOW, VERY WORRIED WE MAY HAVE DRAMAS, WHAT DO YOU FEEL AT THIS STAGE? CHEERS FRENZY.
HI FRENZY, NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU ALSO. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I LOVED THE EASE OF USING AUCTIVA BUT LIKE YOU, FIND THAT IT IS JUST TOO MUCH WORK AT THIS STAGE. IF I ONLY HAD A FEW LISTINGS IT WOULD BE OKAY, BUT LIKE YOU, I CAN LIST HEAPS IN A WEEK AND TO REVISE EACH AND EVERY ONE TO PUT IN BANK DEPOSIT WOULD JUST TAKE UP TOO MUCH TIME AND AS FOR US AUSSIE'S BANK DEPOSIT IS OUR MAIN FORM OF PAYMENT. I THINK THAT I WILL JUST USE IT EVERY NOW AND AGAIN THESE DAYS WHEN I HAVE SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES NUMEROUS PHOTO'S AND A SPECIAL DESCRIPTION. I LOVE THE AUCTIVA SHOWCASE THOUGH THAT POPS UP NOW ON ALL LISTINGS. THAT I DO FIND HAS REALLY INCREASED MY SALES. IT A PITY BECAUSE I REALLY DO LOVE IT, MIND YOU IT DID TAKE ME A LITTLE WHILE TO FIGURE IT OUT.. ALL THE BEST. bjs5kids...Aussieland..
Roll EyesHI AGAIN, YES WE ARE IN THE EXACT SAME BOAT, LOVE ALL IT HAS TO OFFER EXCEPT THIS PROBLEM WITH BANK DEPOSIT, MAYBE IF WE CAN GET ALL THE AUSSIES WHO ARE BIG SELLERS ON EBAY AUSTRALIA TO PIPE UP AND REQUEST THIS OPTION WE MAY HAVE AUCTIVA LISTEN TO US AND UPDATE THIS INTO THE SITE, C'MON ALL YOU AUSSIE EBAYERS WE NEED TO DEMAND TO HAVE BANK DEPOSIT PUT IN THIER CHECK OUT ALONG WITH THE COMBINED ITEMS AND WE WILL ALL USE THIER CHECKOUT AS WELL AS PERSONALLY WE WILL USE THE WHOLE CONVENIANCE OF LISTING ALL OF OUR ITEMS USING AUCTIVA!! SO ONE THING LEFT TO SAY TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS C'MON AUSSIES ,C'MON C'MON, C'MON AUSSIES ,C'MON!!!! YOU GUYS IN AUCTIVA LAND (YANKIES) PLEASE DO THIS FOR US BECAUSE THIS WILL BE AN EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER COMPANY FOR YOU WHEN ALL US AUSSIE EBAYERS ARE ON BOARD.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALSO BJS5KIDS, LETS START A BIG REQUEST ON THIS ISSUE TO THE AUCTIVA GUYS, HAVE A GREAT DAY AND LETS END THIS FRUSTRATION , CHEERS FRENZY...... AUSSIE EBAYERS
This seems like something that is a must have feature for eBay.au sellers. I'll ask engineering to check into how hard it would be to add.

It's just a matter of priorities and time. It may not be immediately, but we will be adding it is the feeling I have right now. Of course if it turns out to be easy then it will be in the next update whenever that is.
SmileHI THERE JEFF, WOW THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE. THIS SOUNDS VERY POSITIVE AND I WILL BE ANXIOUS TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. SEE MOST CUSTOMERS PREFER TO DO AN ONLINE ELECTRONIC TRANSFER STRAIGHT INTO OUR BANK ACCOUNT, WHICH THE DETAILS ARE LINKED UP TO EBAY CHECKOUT AND ONCE WE INVOICE OUR CUSTOMERS THEY AND ONLY THEY CAN GAIN ACCESS THROUGH A LINK THAT IS PROVIDED IN THE EBAY CHECKOUT TO GET OUR BANK DETAILS, SO THEY CAN PAY DIRECT DEPOSIT, VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT AND THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE PAY THIS WAY, PAYPAL IS ALSO VERY GOOD AND POPULAR TOO.AS YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY READ BEFORE WE CAN NOT USE AUCTIVA AND GO WITHOUT THIS PAYMENT OPTION IN OUR LISTINGS AND IT IS TOO TIME WASTING TO REVISE EVERY ITEM WE LIST THROUGH AUCTIVA SO IT HAS BANK DEP ON IT.IT IS BEST FOR US TO WAIT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AS WE LOVE ALL YOU GUYS HAVE TO OFFER AND WANT OUR LISTINGS AND PAGES TO BE AS PROFFESSIONAL AS WHAT AUCTIVA CAN OFFER US HERE IN AUSSIELAND, MUCH APPRECIATED, CHEERS FRENZY. Smile
Hi Auctiva David, Thanks so much. I see that Bank Deposit is now in the Checkout options for us Aussies. Now I did a listing this morning, updated my checkout profile to include the Bank Deposit, but when I loaded it to the listing it still didn't show up. So I created another checkout profile and loaded this one and it also didn't make any changes on the listing page. Am I missing something, or is it maybe not quite ready yet... Look forward to a reply. bjs5kids
Hi bjs5kids,

I just created a test profile and it did indeed load Bank Deposit into my listing. What steps are you going through to load the profile into your listing? Are you using a master profile? More details will help us figure out what the issue is here.

(Note that even if your profile doesn't work you should still be able to manually select it on the listings page so you can at least post it to eBay)

Thanks,
Auctiva David
Hi David, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I updated my Checkout profile this morning and included the Bank Deposit option. I then loaded this profile into a listing I was preparing to send to ebay. It didn't change anything on the listing, it still showed under payment methods, Cashiers Check or Money Order. When I previewed it, it still showed the same two things. I then loaded it to ebay and when it went to ebay it did have Bank Deposit on it as well as the other two opotions so that was great. I just found it a bit confusing because it doesn't show that on the listing when I am preparing it, it is only showing up the two payment methods above the I mentioned even when I load the new checkout optins profile that I have just prepared. So even though it does actually put the Bank Deposit option on when it goes to ebay, it isn't showing up that option in my Payment options on my listing.. Thanks heaps bjs5kids.
Hi bjs5kids,

It looks like bank deposit wasn't showing up in the preview of the listing. Is this the issue that you were experiencing? Or was the checkbox labeled "Bank Deposit" that is on the actual lister page not being checked? I think this must be checked or it would not get posted to eBay with Bank Deposit.

The problem with the preview page has been fixed and will be go out with our next release of the site.

Hi Auctiva David,
It doesn't show up in preview but that's okay because it sounds like you have it all under control. It's is actually when I am preparing a listing on the actually listing page. I get down to the CHECKOUT OPTIONS, load in my checkout profile which does have the Direct Deposit box checked but when loaded it still only shows up on the listing page I am creating
PAYPAL: Not Selected
OTHER PAYMENT METHODS: Cashier's Check or Money Order.
It doesn't say anything there about Direct Deposit, but maybe this will alter when the Preview section get's updated next. Other than that, when I now load to ebay, it does have the Direct Deposit option on the listing, which is absolutely terrific and I can't thank you enough. It's made my life so much easier. So all Aussie's out there, you can now have Direct Deposit put straight onto your listings no need to revise your listing every time now. You have a fantastic site, one of the best. Thanks heaps. bjs5kids
