To Fairy odd Mother, I have read a lot of your postings and enjoy them very much. Since you have been doing this so long. When is the best time to schedule a listing? I live on the East Coast. North Carolina. I had been listing in the early morning hours and was enlightened by bouncing bubba that is not a good Idea since my posting would be ending at that time. Please advise Fairy Odd Mother. I look forward to your delightful and Knowledgable answer. Thanks, Big T
In addition to the posting problems, I am also receiving odd error messages sometimes when trying to save or post an auction.
It says:
ebay no longer allows the profile name ,
is aleady in use, please choose a different name, day store listings. this adhas been defaulted to 30 days.
It has shown a couple of different profile names that I have never heard of before.
Is anyone else having this odd error message come up?
Thanks, Melissa
SmileHi Princess of Big T Land, Not sure where that is. I really don't know that I am an expert, other than on the Land of Imagination, but I will pretend that I am. It is my understanding that the best time to end an auction is Sunday night between 8-10 EST. I live in SLC so try to get mine posted to end about 6 my time. Once of the nice things about Auctiva is that you can schedule your items to post at a specific time regardless of when you created them. There is no additional charge as there is in EBay. The idea is to have your items close when there is the most traffice on EBay.. I also seem to do well on Wednesday. Don't know why. Trouble with Sunday is that Auctiva seems to have alot of server problems on Sundays. Try monitoring your site to see when you get the most traffic. I think that if you use the sellathon counter you can get alot of that info. Hope this helps. As I say, not an expert (just my 2nonCents worth)
To Fairy Odd Mother, Thank you so much for your advice. I now Have a better understanding of the timing. Oh! by the way, Sure sounds like your world of imagination is alot of fun. Big T Land is getting sort of the Listing blues over here. I sure have learned alot from you guys in the forum. All of us Newbies appreciate it. I know I do. I see you help out alot Fairy Odd Mother. Thanks Again, Big T
