The Auctiva servers have been extremely slow all afternoon.

I have auctions ending today. Luckily I hosted all of the photos for them externally but the scrolling gallery is pretty much dead on all of my eBay listings (it is stuck saying "loading" forever).

I've been posting new listings all afternoon too. I had been hosting my images for the new listings on the Auctiva servers, but maybe I should re-think that.
Got a response from support and they did not blame my browser or system. Here is what they are saying

Thanks you for alerting us to this. It appears as though we are experiencing some site slowness. We are investigating this issue and should have it resolved shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue is causing you. In the mean time, if there is anything I can do to assist you further, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Auctiva Support
Their servers must be overloaded with customers coming and going. I just worked for two days to restore my transfered and deleted listing and photos! Next time Auctiva wants to make radical changes, please do it in January when there is nothing else to do!! This is my busy season and this rots!
Keeping both Auctiva and IF for a while before making my final choice. Service is important, and IFrog has 500 new templates starting on Sunday. If they are as boring as the ones that they have now I will stay with Auctiva. IFrog has glitches also but no fee for 2 months as a trial basis, nothing to lose.
Unacceptable. Two days in a row and it's been extremely difficult to upload images, prepare listings. Since Friday evening, haven't managed to get any listings posted through Auctiva.

Every Auctiva employee ought to be manning the pumps this weekend. The weekend is the busiest time for seller listings but there never seems to be anyone minding the store at Auctiva. No Auctiva employee responses here on the boards and no alert or systems announcement on Auctiva home page. I cannot even get beyond that home page now.

And you want to be paid for this????! Credibility & trust is like a yo-yo with Auctiva lately.

Thank goodness I've diversified to another collectibles auction site from eBay. eBay's Stalinist regulations & fees and Auctiva's shambles are just speeding up the transition.

Jeff, this is not a case of Auctiva shooting itself in the foot, it's a case of shooting itself between the eyes! Who's minding the store on the weekends???!!! There should be a VP for Weekend management & a permanent weekend crew to communicate & rectify these system problems.

Ticked off, as you can probably tell Wink
This is ridiculous! Sundays and Wednesdays are my busiest listing days. I can not afford to be sitting around, waiting for a site to decide whether or not its going to load. It was annoying when the site was free, but something to be put up with because, well, it was free! But now you expect us to pay for the privilege of bad service? I have no problem ponying up the dough to pay for good service, but I most certainly do have an issue parting with my hard earned cash for a service that doesn't even work!
