Got a phone call @ 9 o'clock last night from eBay's Darrell telling me that I am in violation of eBay's policies because I use a link to my Auctiva formatted eBay store which looks a lot better than what eBay gives me. I have my photo's watermarked with my ebay store URL that is 100% ebay. I am not using links to re-direct to my private website, not circumventing fees, only want my customers to see a better looking page. If eBay allowed Auctiva to sell us URL's for an eBay store, why can't I use it?
I called ebay customer service after my long discussion with Darrell, and they told me that I was not in violation and maybe Darrell was not from ebay and it was a crank call !!! Not so, Darrell put me on hold to re-check the policy with someone else and it had the same funky hold music as Customer service had.
I have been doing this for over 2 years and never had a problem. I don't want to go through all my listing to make changes now that I'm getting into my busy season. Can any one from Auctiva give me a true answer?
