I have a listing trying to go through that I just posted. It is on its second recond of attempting to post, is there something going on at the moment where we shouldn't be listing?

I am concerned as I have a ton of relists to put up and this is hindering me finishing, on top of that I am now concerned that my scheduled auctions will have problems posting at their correct time.

I've had the same with 4 listings this afternoon. All 4 errored out, but the little "event monitor" at the top of every page has no indication that anything went wrong. It's only on the "Scheduled Listings" page that I see that the listings did not post as scheduled. Weirdest thing is that 4 other listings I had up to post about 2 hours from NOW, now are also stating "error". When you click the "View Error" link it brings you to a blank Auctiva page... Oh well... that's why it's free guys! Can't rely on it....yet....
windmill,

I'm not sure why no error event was created. I also noticed that what eBay returned back to us was an empty response.

I'm having one of the engineers look into that. As for why your future items are all marked as failed, it has to be because the same saved listing was used. If we notice a saved listing fails to post and you have other scheduled attempts for that same saved listing, we'll also mark those ones as failed as well.

This shouldn't have happened in this case though, as the error was a response issue with eBay and so we shouldn't have marked your future listings as having an error.

Hope this makes a little sense.

Yep, I did... Smile
I figured something's wrong on you guys' end, and it was not that big a deal those listings did not post. Sorry, maybe I should've kept them so you could've analyzed the problem. I will next time it happens!

Been using Auctiva now for about 2-3 weeks, and in general I do like it. Still got lots of refinements that need to be made, but you can't beat the price! Smile

I just look at it like we're all beta testers here... testing this thing to the point it's sellable, and then Auctiva will probably start charging newcomers money to use the service, and hopefully keep the testers on for free! :-D
It sure does make sense... if a listing fails due to what the system sees as a problem with the listing itself, why waste time, bandwidth and CPU cycles listing the same thing again down the road. Except that, as you say, in this case the problem was with eBay. I'm sure you guys can figure it out.

Gotta tell ya... I'm *really* impressed with speed at which everyone at Auctiva answers questions and tries to fix problems. First rate show going there in CA. Big Grin
