Hi Community,

As many have you may have noticed, we are currently experiencing a technical problem that is causing many listings that users have tried to post or schedule to get stuck in "posting" or "processing" status on the Scheduled Listings page.

Our engineering team has been working on correcting the problem since it began a little while ago and we will have it resolved as soon as possible, although I'm not quite sure when things will return to normal at the moment.

As it stands now, most listings that are stuck in "posting" or "processing" status on the Scheduled Listings page will most likely end up getting posted to eBay in the near future but it is likely that some of them will also fail to be posted successfully.

If any of them end up failing to post and a failure message is recorded next to them on the Scheduled Listings and Notifications pages, you should be able to post them successfully by trying again at that time.

We apologize for any inconveniences this issue is causing. I will post further updates on this situation to this thread as additional information becomes available.

We have been continuing to monitor this situation and, unfortunately, it appears that more of these items that get stuck during the posting process are failing to post than we previously hoped. Those that users attempted to post or scheduled during the 6 o'clock hour seem to have had the greatest chance to fail from what we have seen so far.

We are continuing to make progress toward stabilizing our posting service and, while I'm still hesitant to offer an estimate of when this issue will be completely resolved, I expect to be able to post some more definitive details here within the next hour or so.

We appreciate your continued patience as we deal with this difficult situation.

We have made some significant improvements over the last hour and I believe we are close to getting the issue completely resolved but, unfortunately, quite a large volume of listings that were posted or scheduled during the 6 o'clock and 7 o'clock hours have failed to post. You should be able to tell if any of your listings failed to post by checking your Scheduled Listings page.

At this time, no remaining listings are stuck in "posting" or "processing" status from the 6 o'clock hour and only a few are still stuck from the 7 o'clock hour so almost all the listings that should have posted during those hours have posted or failed to post.

There are still a number of listings that were posted or scheduled to post during the 8 o'clock hour that are stuck in "posting" or "processing" status on the Scheduled Listings page but those are starting to post now and it looks like those listings will do much better that those that users attempted to post in the couple hours prior.

I'll continue to keep you posted through this thread as I gather additional information about this. Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and your patience has been greatly appreciated.

I am pleased to report that that our posting service has returned to normal and that all listings are posting to eBay immediately once posted or scheduled once again. There are still some existing listings that are still stuck in "posting" or "processing" status but those should either post or fail soon.

I will update this thread to let you know if I become aware of any remaining problems related to this situation.
