I need help aligning my photos to the left of the page and my description text to the right of those photos. I've already placed the photo and description tags in the HTML. I've tried several <align="left"> and <align="right"> placements and also tried to go to "MODIFY LAYOUT" and align photos to the left that way, but nothing has worked. I just changed my photos from the small (click to supersize) to the originals, and the alignment worked via "MODIFY LAYOUT" with the supersized ones. It's the originals I'm having problems with. Please help!

HERE IS MY CURRENT HTML:

If you're going to attempt a vertical frame of images next to the description text, I'd try the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag placed in front of the other text section tags to simplify. That is suppose to defer the images placement and selection to Auctiva's layout for grouping and alignment in the one page lister, and should give you the flexibility of image placement whereever you need it. The images then default to 400x300 with the Supersize capability. That's not full-size, but I think full-size might be crowding the page width for anything larger (test and see). If 400x300 is too large, you may need to size the pics in your image library to something that's workable.

Hope that suggestion helps.

Here's a small piece of no frills or finess code to do a left table cell of the images and right table cell of the text area. Take the code and paste it to the custom template builder to get a basic template for testing. Select the template in the one-page lister for testing. I'm recommending that approach as a first step, so you can examine the problem of how your pictures will work full sized. I briefly tested it doing the same. If it looks good, you can use it as a base for your coding. However, I think you may see the problems of inserting original (essentially super-sized) pictures, which is why I was suggesting the alternate method.

<table height="58" cellpadding="3" width="100%" border="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" align="right" width="50%" height="21"><p align="center">[IMAGE1_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE2_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE3_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE4_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE5_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE6_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE7_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE8_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE9_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE10_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE11_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE12_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE13_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE14_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE15_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE16_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE17_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE18_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE19_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE20_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE21_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE22_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE23_ORG]</p><p align="center">[IMAGE24_ORG]</p></td><td valign="top" width="50%" height="21"><p align="center">[DESCRIPTION]</p><p align="center"> </p></td></tr></tbody></table>

You're very welcome.

Oh...and the simple code technique in the template customizer is to create a one row, two column table. That's the two cells I mentioned in the prior post. Then select Original Images and click off the image #s in the left cell with a return between each to add the 1 - 24 images. In the right cell, add any of the headers you want.

You could also do this as a two row, split the bottom, and use the top for the title.....fun fun. Smile
