FROM EBAY EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER...Optional buyer charges for shipping insurance removed: The insurance option creates the perception that buyers need to purchase shipping insurance as a protection on eBay, an experience they're not accustomed to on other ecommerce sites. In fact, sellers have always been responsible for their items until they arrive safely in their customers' hands. That's why shipping insurance will no longer be included in the purchase flow as either an option or requirement for buyers.

they already have a maximum shipping charge on some items so this is not a option and if i increase my price by 1.75 im not gonna get bids on some items

That is the problem I will have too. Not everyone ships using Priority or Express mail. Some of us use good old 1st class mail.
Can we put into our ads to contact us if they want insurance added or will eBay flag the word "INSURANCE" and not let the ad be posted. Similar to what they did with the words "check or money order"
